Final Thoughts

All of these facets come into play every game, but they really can be the difference between winning and losing when facing elite competition.

Of course the ‘Noles will face Alabama in the 2017 and they are one of the few teams just as talented or more talented that FSU.

If the ‘Noles happen to lose that game it’s not the end of the world, but they will need to be better in all these areas to make it happen.

Alabama led the nation in sacks as a team, forced 29 turnovers last season and had the best defense in college football.

Did I mention their special teams were great too, averaging 15 yards per punt return with four touchdowns?

The season is way more than beating Alabama, but this first game will provide a great snapshot on how these areas could go in 2017.
