Ranking Justification

Dabo Swinney is an elite coach. He used to catch a lot of flack because of his personality and religious beliefs, but the guy has been to back-to-back national championship games and won one of them.

He’s won huge bowl games and done well against SEC foes and other out of conference competition.

Swinney has won 10 games in six consecutive seasons and established Clemson among the elite in college football.

Did I mention he’s an excellent recruiter?

The question is how will Clemson fair after losing the best quarterback in Clemson history? That will tell us just how good he is as a coach.
