Nyqwan Murray vs. NC State

The NC State game was right after the demoralizing loss to Clemson where FSU gave up a huge lead in the fourth quarter. Not to mention, this game took place at Carter-Finley Stadium where FSU has struggled historically since the 90’s.

Nyqwan Murray was able to build on the momentum from the Clemson game and finished with a stat line of nine receptions for 153 yards.

The reason this performance makes the list is because seven of his nine catches took place in the second half where FSU was trailing 13-10 at halftime.

Murray had catches for 12, 5, 25, 16, 14, 17, and 37 yards. Also, two of those catches went for third down conversions, plus the 17 yard catch was on second and 19 from the FSU 10.

That catch made the third down conversion a manageable third and two, but FSU wasn’t able to convert. However, the big catch on second down helped FSU flip the field for the defense.

Murray averaged 18 yards per catch in the second half. His production in the second half allowed others receivers to make plays, and FSU to score the come from behind victory.
