FSU Football: Top 8 offensive performances in 2016 season

FSU football was the No. 2 offensive in the country in 2016.  We take a look at the top 8 offensive performances on the season.

When we analyzed FSU football on offense from 2016, we found it was a lot of Dalvin Cook and explosive passing plays.

Deondre Francois struggled with accuracy behind a patchwork offensive line. The biggest factor for the offense was effectiveness in the red zone where they scored touchdowns 77.19 percent of the time.

That was up from 56.62 percent in 2015.

Also, the offense converted third downs at a higher clip than 2015. The ‘Noles converted third downs at a 43.79 percent rate compared to 38.13 percent the prior year.
