FSU recruiting has been beating Miami off the field just as long as they’ve beaten them on the field. In fact, that’s how the cycle goes as the team with the better players usually wins.
The fact that a ton of those kids FSU has had on its roster came from right out of Miami’s backyard probably makes the hurt a bit more unbearable.
It’s so bad Miami fans can’t stand it when FSU recruiting ace Tim Brewster lets everyone know he’s in their backyard scooping up talent.

Brewster is talking about the imaginary fence former Miami coach Howard Schnellenberger mapped out to attract local talent which helped the Canes become a major player in college football.

Thoughts
Miami does have the No. 1 recruiting class for 2018 currently with 16 commitments with 15 of them coming from the state of Florida. Impressively, six of them hail from Miami, Florida.
Mark Richt has done a better recruiting job than the previous regime, but this upcoming season will be pivotal for the Canes.
