Levonta Taylor

If you’re looking for a player that exudes confidence and the ability to make plays, look no further than true sophomore cornerback Levonta Taylor.

Taylor came to FSU as the No. 7 overall player in the 2016 recruiting class and the No. 1 cornerback in the country.

He played 12 games as a true freshman and finished with 16 total tackles with one pass broken up. Taylor is vying for the field cornerback position that was manned by Marquez White the past two seasons.

It was most impressive to see FSU coaches trusting Taylor enough to put him on the field in crucial third down situations last season.

Players on the team know his stature as a high-profile recruit and he has an alpha male mentality. If he’s able to make plays on the field, look for Taylor to emerge as one of the vocal leaders on the defensive side of the ball.
