FSU football fields one of the most talented rosters in college football. Which of its players will emerge as key team leaders?

The ‘Noles has their first scrimmage earlier Monday and the prevailing message from coach Jimbo Fisher was the team needs more leadership.

Here’s what Fisher said when asked about the leadership of the team:

“We need more of it. We need more. That’s kind of the personality of this team.  We have a bunch of good guys..they’re good kids, they need to be more exuberant and more dominant personalities and stuff.”

Fisher went on to say guys are doing “OK” but it’s nothing “outstanding” regarding guys taking ownership of leadership roles.

Last year FSU football saw Dalvin Cook become a vocal as a leader, and DeMarcus Walker was the leader on the defensive side. It’s always good to see leaders emerge on both sides of the ball.

We’re going to take a look at who will likely emerge as leaders as the season gets closer.
