Did you notice a common theme among most of these teams? Almost all of them will be losing their quarterback.
If you don’t believe quarterback play is important, just ask Alabama about that. If they had a better quarterback, they would have been National Champions for the second consecutive year.
However, Deshaun Watson outplayed freshman Jalen Hurts and Clemson overcame the odds even those Alabama has the better roster top to bottom.
Because of all of the turnover with quarterbacks in the ACC, and a number of teams losing key parts of their offense or defense I think we’ll see the ACC regress back to mediocrity when it comes to them winning the games they won this past season.
