Conclusion

FSU basketball has the opportunity to be much improved in 2016 (especially if Bacon and Beasley return). They went (20-14, 8-10) on the season and easily could have won three or four more games.

Just imagine if they play better team defense and don’t turn the ball over near as much? What if they shot free throws at a higher percentage?

They were the No. 70 team in the nation in regards to offensive efficiency. What if they took better shots as a whole?

The athletes are there to compete with the best teams. They would not have beat a NCAA Tournament No. 1 seed Virginia team, or three other NCAA tournament teams if that was not the case.

Next: Is Leonard Hamilton Still The Right Coach For FSU?

It will come down to maturity and how the incoming freshmen are incorporated into next action next season.
