Free Throw Shooting

Man, the free throw shooting for FSU basketball certainly cost them some games in 2015. The team shot 69.5 percent as a team which was 184th in the nation.

There were five players that shot over 70 percent on the season. However, there were several players that were right over 50 percent on the season:

  • Terrance Mann-45.8 percent
  • Benji Bell-55.6 percent
  • Montay Brandon-54.5 percent
  • Chris Koumadje-41.2 percent

Mann was a freshman, but his percentage is inexcusable for a guard. How on earth does Benji Bell shoot 42.6 percent from beyond the arc, but shoots free throws so terribly?

Montay Brandon graduates this year and Koumadje was a freshman.

Mann averaged 17 minutes per game, Bell averaged 10.4 minutes per game and Koumadje averaged 6.1 minutes per game.

Lots of room to improve for these players next season.
