FSU Basketball: Top 5 Areas to Improve in 2016
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU basketball wrapped their season second round loss in the NIT Tournament. Here are five areas they need to improve on in 2016.
The 2015 FSU basketball team was a talented group of young players that had its ups and downs during the season.
They beat four NCAA tournament teams, but lost to teams like Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech to finish the regular season (19-13, 8-10).
FSU basketball was bounced in the second round of the ACC Tournament by Virginia Tech and then lost to a No. 1 seed Valparaiso team in the second round of the NIT Tournament.
In fairness, Valparaiso was good enough to be in the NCAA Tournament.
The inconsistencies are indicative of a young team and the 2016 FSU basketball team should be better if Dwayne Bacon and Malik Beasley choose to return, coupled with the No. 9 recruiting class in the nation incoming.
It could be the first time FSU makes the NCAA Tournament since the 2012 season. Let’s take a look at the top 5 areas FSU basketball needs to improve in 2016.
