The ‘Noles signed only one back this cycle, losing a commitment from Johnny Frasier late in the process.

The ‘Noles landed one of the top RB prospects for the 2015 cycle in Jacques Patrick. Patrick brings a physical element that the running back position at FSU doesn’t currently have. Patrick isn’t Greg Jones, but he will be plenty capable of trucking defenders and extending plays. His straight-line speed is very impressive for a back of his size and stature. An early-enrollee, Patrick will have an opportunity to come in and play right away.

Grade – A. The ‘Noles wanted to sign two backs this year due to lack of talent instate next year. However, Patrick is one of the top backs in the country and the fact that he’s already enrolled is huge.
