FSU football has owned the Miami Hurricanes under Jimbo Fisher. Nowadays, Miami fans think the next commit is the greatest player ever.
FSU football is so funny on social media nowadays when it comes to the Miami Hurricanes. Every day can be a meme about how long it has been since Miami has beaten FSU.
Miami hired Mark Richt and although the losing to FSU continued in 2016, the Canes did win their first bowl game in a decade. Their recruiting seems to have improved somewhat, although still not on the level of FSU.
Miami picked up a graduate transfer on Tuesday from the Citadel and of course Miami fans went crazy.

Dee Delaney was a FCS All-American at the Citadel and has excellent size for a defensive back at 6’1 193 pounds. He’ll likely replace Corn Elder in their secondary who was an All-ACC performer.

Delaney recorded 11 interceptions in his past two seasons. Will provide size, experience, and playmaking ability to Miami's secondary

Thoughts
Miami does have some talent on defense, but it’s hard to measure just how good they were last season as they played a fairly week schedule. They did play a trio of true freshman linebackers that should be better in 2017, and will play a ton of teams breaking in a new quarterback.
When it comes to FSU, the ‘Noles will feature a better defense with Miami also breaking in a new quarterback. That game will take place in Tallahassee.
