Florida State will be playing Virginia Tech tonight at 7:30 PM EST in Doak Campbell Stadium. The game will be televised on the ACC Network. Luckily, YouTube TV has finally settled their contract dispute so that individuals can enjoy the game.

Florida State has lost five of its last six games, so the fan base is losing hope and isn't as invested as it was in August when it defeated Alabama. The Seminoles play an equally rough Hokies team that has an overall 3-6 record with no head coach (Philip Montgomery is the interim).

One of the biggest concerns of the contest is probably Virginia Tech quarterback Kyron Drones, who possesses a dual-threat ability to extend plays outside the pocket. The Hokies have nothing to lose in this one, so they could play more free.

WILL FLORIDA STATE SCORE 35+ POINTS?

Florida State's offense has been a mixed bag of results, with offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and quarterback Thomas Castellanos leading the charge. One of the more consistent pieces has been wide receiver Duce Robinson.

DraftKings Sportsbooks has a Florida State team scoring prop at 34.5 points in tonight's matchup against Virginia Tech. Oddsmakers must be confident that the Seminoles can be high scoring.

However, over the past five games, Florida State have only been able to reach the 35 point mark once when they played Wake Forest at home and won by a score of 42-7. It is important to note that Virginia Tech's defense has allowed five of their nine opponents to score 35 points or more.

Plus, the Hokies' injury report looks like a running grocery list, where four members of the secondary and three defensive linemen are listed as "out" for the contest. Hopefully, this is the confidence boost that the Seminoles need before they take on the North Carolina State Wolfpack on the road next week.
