Florida State football is welcoming in Virginia Tech on Saturday for a night game in Doak Campbell Stadium at 7:30 PM EST on the ACC Network. The Seminole fan base could be limited, given the program has lost five of its last six games.

However, there should be a little bit of juice since it is Homecoming and Senior Night. Florida State has had its fair share of ups and downs after defeating Alabama in the season opener on August 30th, which seems like a decade ago right now.

Nonetheless, this is a squad that expressed its confidence in head football coach Mike Norvell, who has faced criticism from the fan base. It isn't easy to navigate through having a 6-15 record in the last two seasons.

This is a monumental contest to ensure that the 2025 season doesn't hit "rock bottom". Here are players that have a chance to break out in the Seminoles' matchup against Virginia Tech.
