Pittsburgh Will Start a Freshman QB Making His First Road Start

Remember how the FSU defense looked against Alabama when they had an inexperienced quarterback making his first start on the road? Now, the atmosphere probably won’t be quite what it was that day, but it should be challenging enough.

FSU defensive coordinator Tony White’s defense will be a tough ask for the young quarterback to consistently decipher. Pittsburgh likes to throw the ball more than running it this year, and they’ll probably make some plays through the air. However, they’ll likely turn it over at least once.

FSU gave up a few big pass plays in last week’s game against Miami, but Carson Beck put a couple of those balls on the money. It’ll be tough for an inexperienced guy to consistently make those types of throws.

FSU will likely get more pressure on him since their offensive line isn’t as good as Miami’s, and that should lead to more incompletions or potential turnovers.
