WR JAYVAN BOGGS
The Seminoles' 2025 recruiting class has been something that the fan base has been excited to see. This speaks volumes to where the recruiting efforts have been going. The program has been viewed as a "transfer portal destination."
Some thought that Florida State over-relied on transfers, but it is refreshing to see the true freshmen excel during the 2025 season. This displays to the 2026 recruiting cycle that the Seminoles' coaching staff will play the youngsters if they give their team the best chance to win.
One player that individuals wanted to see was wide receiver Jayvan Boggs. The Cocoa, Florida, native is a two-time Mr. Florida award winner. During his last two seasons of high school, he had over 4,000 yards and 40 touchdowns.
The players and coaching staff raved about Boggs all offseason, but through two games, he has one catch for three yards and one touchdown. There is an expectation that he should be more involved in the passing game this weekend as Florida State gets ready for conference play.
