CB AZAREYE'H THOMAS (PANTHERS)
Defensive back Azareye'h Thomas came to Tallahassee as a four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting cycle. It was unfortunate that the pickup of Thomas was overshadow due to the fact that five-star Travis Hunter flipped his pledge from Florida State to Jackson State.
However, the Niceville product still had an outstanding career with the Seminoles as he had 95 tackles (nine for loss), 15 pass deflections, two interceptions, 0.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery during his three-year playing career with Florida State.
Thomas is a lanky cornerback with a phenomenal size and frame that NFL scouts salivate over. He performed so well during the practice portion of the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl that individuals advised him to sit out of the contest to avoid injuries.
As a result, NFL teams are high on Thomas, and so is ProFootballNetwork, where they have him being selected by the Carolina Panthers with the 57th overall pick. This could be a perfect match for him as the Panthers are a young team that is looking for leaders to emerge.
I think there is a solid chance that Thomas could sneak into the late first round/early second round if he continues to impress NFL teams.
