THOUGHTS
I realize that Florida State's 2026 recruiting class isn't where the fan base wants it. The Seminoles would like to be top ten in the country. However, it has been consistent that the coaching staff doesn't just want to grab a prospect just because of their star ranking.
They need to be the right fit for the program. It might sound corny, but they truly need to be all-in at Florida State, and I think this time around, it could pay off for the Seminoles since they have a new coaching staff that has the energy to close on the recruitments.
However, many individuals within the fan base aren't as invested in recruiting until they sign the dotted line to make it official with the Seminoles. In today's landscape of college football, that feat could even be avoided where prospects sign and then back out of their agreement.
I am just glad that prospects say "yes" to Florida State. Hopefully, they see the same burning passion and desire to be part of such a great university as we do. I think that the coaching staff can finish the summer months strong in recruiting, to hopefully have a productive 2025 season to show others.
