QUARTERBACK

Florida State made a swing this offseason by bringing in former UCF and Boston College quarterback transfer Thomas Castellanos. The Georgia native was recruited by the Seminoles in high school to be a running back.

However, head football coach Mike Norvell quickly found out during the 2023 and 2024 meetings when he was with the Eagles that Castellanos was much more than a running threat.

As it stands, Castellanos is a quarterback who gets talked about a ton by the fan base, so I don't believe that he falls under the underrated portion of this article. However, a piece that I didn't expect to do too much this offseason was true freshman Kevin Sperry.

Sperry was a former four-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class that the Seminoles were able to secure later in the recruiting process. The coaching staff has already raved about his ability as a player during the spring. I am excited to see what he does after a year of development.

Pick: Kevin Sperry
