CORNERBACK
Florida State lost three of its top cornerbacks to the NFL Draft with Azareye'h Thomas, Fentrell Cypress II, and Kevin Knowles II. The Seminoles are known for producing quality cornerbacks in the university.
Assistant coach Patrick Surtain Sr. has done a tremendous job with recruiting elite defensive backs. Even though the position group is unproven, they are very talented.
The fan base is currently discussing Houston transfer Jeremiah Wilson, who should be the No. 1 cornerback on the roster when the Seminoles kick off against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Plus, I love players such as Quindarrius Jones and Edwin Joseph Jr. to step up. However, who else will emerge in that room?
One player that also excites me is redshirt sophomore Ja'Bril Rawls. The Pensacola, Florida, native recorded 11 tackles last year, but defensive coordinator Tony White spoke highly of him, classifying him as an NFL draft pick.
Pick: Ja'Bril Rawls
