FOUR-STAR DE JAMARION MATTHEWS (ALABAMA COMMIT)
Florida State added three-star defensive tackle/defensive end Wihtlley Cadeau this past weekend, which marked defensive line coach Terrance Knighton's first commitment at his position group for the 2026 cycle.
With that said, Cadeau is a talented prospect who I realize why schools such as Georgia were calling because of his size and versatility. However, the Atlanta, Georgia native does not need to be one of the few defensive linemen in the class as he might need some grooming before being able to contribute at an effective level.
I am a fan of bringing in Alabama four-star defensive end commit Jamarion Matthews from Gainesville, Georgia. The pass rusher visited the Crimson Tide last weekend, and Florida State has a chance to make their mark on the recruitment.
According to his 247Sports profile, Matthews was dominant last year during his junior season, where he recorded 57 tackles (29 for loss), 17 sacks, and 15 quarterback hurries. This is the type of production at 6'2" and 240 pounds that the Seminoles need to obtain.
