Three 2026 recruits that I believe FSU football could flip in the near future

These are recruits that Florida State has a chance to flip.

RB DERREK COOPER

I don't know why I keep getting a strange feeling that the Seminoles are in this recruitment more than some individuals are led to believe about five-star Derrek Cooper, but it reminds me vividly of the former Ousmane Kromah situation. Fans thought that he was definitely heading to Georgia, and if he didn't go to the Bulldogs, he would select the Auburn Tigers.

I don't blame Kromah for coming to Tallahassee so that he can tote the ball. As we know, offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn likes to run the football. Even against Alabama, he favored the running game. It is a staple in all of his offenses as he averaged 248.1 rushing yards per game.

This is why I suggest that Cooper could be one of the best additions to this roster. I thought that it was puzzling that he chose to commit to Texas, but the home-state Miami Hurricanes are edging on the edge of their seats.

This would be a great way of getting the fan base confident in running the ball with passion and conviction.
