FOUR-STAR TE CHASE LOFTIN

Florida State acquired four-star tight end Chase Loftin back in the summer. The talented prospect is from Omaha, Nebraska, so the crystal ball prediction of the Nebraska Cornhuskers by On3's Steve Wiltfong was worrisome.

Loftin is still pledged to Florida State at the moment. However, recruiting is ever-changing, so you never quite know what happens. The tight end could be feeling home sick since Tallahassee is so far from home.

The Seminoles have fantastic weather compared to Nebraska. However, Loftin could have other plans. Florida State already has talented tight ends on its roster, such as Landen Thomas and Amaree Williams.

Loftin could be in play for an Early Signing Day shocker where he could flip to Nebraska over the Seminoles. Florida State has seen that more than they would like. The Seminoles have to do whatever it takes to keep him in the fold.
