QB TONY TOKARZ
This isn't necessarily a blame on quarterbacks coach Tony Tokarz for acquiring talented signal-callers on the roster, but Florida State's only answer at the position in Norvell's tenure has been Jordan Travis, which was a transfer from the Willie Taggart era.
It hasn't been an exciting track record of quarterbacks for this program. The position has not been something that strikes fear in opponents over the past two years, unless you count Alabama with Thomas Castellanos (Nick Saban cannot save them).
It isn't just about the pickups at the quarterback spot. It is also the fact that the mechanics of the players coached have not been ideal either. Hopefully, this changes in the near future because fans want to see dominant quarterback play again.
This could be a tough coaching change to forecast, since Coach Norvell and Tokarz have been around each other since the Memphis days.
