WR JASEN LOPEZ

Ironically enough, Lopez was selected in the CBS Sports's group of panelists. It seems like a no-brainer choice, as the South Florida pass catcher is a real game-changer. He has had over 1,000 receiving yards in each of the past four years at Chaminade-Madonna Prep (stats from MaxPreps).

The high school is used to developing elite talent, such as Ohio State standout wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. The Seminoles seem like they had a very good player on the gridiron, but he can also help head basketball coach Luke Loucks on the hardwood, too.

This isn't to say that it will be a BJ Gibson situation, where he will eventually go to the sport. However, it is suggesting that Lopez is a talent that needs to be in Tallahassee. There are pass catchers in this offense that should be promoted in 2026 such as Micahi Danzy and Lawayne McCoy.

Lopez would be a great slot option for whoever the offensive coordinator and quarterback is. There might be question marks surrounding this program, but the Chaminade-Madonna Prep standout should bring a ton of excitement.
