LB IZAYIA WILLIAMS

Florida State's defense looked rough on Saturday, as fans saw Florida running back Jadan Baugh exhibit his determination and drive on every carry. He ended up with 266 rushing yards (per ESPN Stats and Information). That is unheard of for a Seminoles' defense that wants to be aggressive.

The defensive line has pieces who were playing well at times, such as Darrell Jackson Jr. and Mandrell Desir. However, the linebackers were never in position to come up in run support. This is not an opportunity to downgrade the players, but they know that it was not the standard here.

The Seminoles decided to add three linebackers to their recruiting class, and the one that I am most excited for is four-star Izayia Williams from Tavares, Florida. Yes, I know that he has flipped more times than a pancake, but all of the teams see the skill set that he possesses.

The instincts to the football, his aggression, and coverage skills in space stand out when watching film. Even though, he spent the majority of his senior season with an injury, Seminole fans should be ecstatic if he elects to sign the dotted line to play with the Garnet and Gold.
