Overall Thoughts
It’s a tough spot to be in for FSU. They have invested a TON of money into football over the past two years and gotten little return on the investment. It’s a pivotal moment for the program, and a couple of more bad decisions could put FSU in a position to cost them in several areas.
If they don’t get the next head coaching hire right, they could become what Miami has been over the last quarter of a century. That could lead to not getting out of the ACC to remain competitive with teams in the SEC and B1G.
FSU football fans have every right to be upset, especially those who donate their hard-earned money to Seminole Boosters or The Battles End.
At the same time, it’s not wise to make huge financial decisions based on emotions. Yes, Mike Norvell should be fired, and it’s still very likely that will happen between now and December 1st. FSU is VERY serious about its football program because its success literally helps carry the FSU athletics department and many of the small businesses in Tallahassee.
