FOUR-STAR WR DEVIN CARTER

Florida State already has four-star Brandon Bennett, four-star Efrem White, and four-star Darryon Williams in the fold, but the Seminoles have their eyes on another prospect in four-star Devin Carter from Douglasville, Georgia.

Carter's father, Dexter, played running back for the Seminoles, so the connection to the program is there with the highly-touted playmaker. However, the issue is that he is committed to Auburn (ironically, a team that was addressed at the beginning of this article).

The four-star pass catcher officially visited the Seminoles earlier this month, but then went to visit the Tigers the next weekend. It seemed like Auburn might have been able to keep the recruitment of the Florida State legacy, but the coaching staff made an effort to flip him back.

Carter was previously pledged to Florida State, but we all know how disastrous last season went. When he met with the Seminoles' media after the official visit, you could tell that offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn sat down with him and highlighted how he would be used in the offense.
