FOUR-STAR DB JAY TIMMONS

Florida State has eleven official visitors this weekend on campus. One of the more noteworthy prospects that took a trip was four-star defensive back Jay Timmons from Pine-Richland High School in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania.

Seminole fans might be questioning his last name of "Timmons". Well... the last name might sound familiar because his father (Lawrence) played linebacker for the Seminoles.

The productive defensive back had 42 tackles, ten pass breakups, and four interceptions during the 2024 season. I know that some individuals question his competition level because he lives in Pennsylvania, but this young man is a game-changer.

Timmons is currently committed to Indiana, but that could change shortly as Noles247's Zach Blostein put in a flip crystal ball prediction in favor of Florida State. That defensive back prospect haul could be good for the Seminoles in the 2026 cycle.
