FOUR-STAR WR DEVIN CARTER (AUBURN COMMIT)

Florida State football has learned over the years that you can never have too many playmakers in an offense. The Seminoles' fan base even knows that the coaching staff even tries to emphasize the fact that this is an offense that is built for playmakers.

It certainly didn't look like that last year... However, that notion can be changed if more talented pass catchers enter the program. Florida State can change its offense in an instance. Just look at 2023, when quarterback Jordan Travis had skill players, such as Johnny Wilson, Keon Coleman, and Jaheim Bell to throw to.

Florida State had a dynamic wide receiver, four-star wide receiver Devin Carter, committed to the program (yes, he is former Seminole player Dexter Carter's son). Carter backed off of his pledge and committed to Auburn.

The coaching staff cannot afford to let the legacy recruit slide to another program as the Seminoles try to get its offense back on track.
