I know that it might seem like a Thomas Castellanos love affair, but the thought process is simple. The former UCF and Boston College quarterback will be pivotal if the Seminoles want to be productive in 2025. Offensive Player of the Year is loading for Castellanos.
The quarterback is a confident figure who doesn't mind being in the spotlight to elevate the Seminoles on a high note after the 2-10 record. Florida State football has a proud history of winning conference and national championships, but sometimes you need that spark to get back to stability.
Creating good habits will be key to the Seminoles' resurgence. Quarterback Thomas Castellanos could be the missing piece. He didn't have the year he wanted in 2024, but the coaching staff is hoping he can elevate the offense like he did in 2023, when he finished with 1,100 rushing yards.
Castellanos is not viewed as a top quarterback in the country, and honestly, he doesn't have to be. He needs to move the chains, establish the running game, and keep opposing defenses on their toes with the passing game.
