Florida State has already secured a commitment in five-star interior offensive lineman Solomon Thomas from Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida. However, Seminole fans should not be discouraged as the coaching staff will acquire more prospects within the position unit.

One recruit that I am keeping my eye on is a four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison from Sumner High School in Riverview, Florida. Addison has consistently made the trip to Tallahassee on several unofficial visits.

Florida State has always been a school that the Sumner High School standout has thought highly of after they were his first-ever offer. During the 2023 season, Addison was their left tackle. For reference, it is always wise to secure a talented left tackle to protect the quarterback's blind side.

When the Seminoles offered Addison, he was only listed at 240 pounds and was still growing into his frame. However, Florida State liked what they saw and trusted their evaluation of him as a prospect. The four-star recruit posted a picture on his Twitter account (follow him here) with the transformation from when he was 240 pounds to now.

Fans can imagine when/if he decides to sign with Florida State and has the opportunity to be developed by strength and conditioning coach Josh Storms. The assistant coach has made former players potentially more money in the NFL after the draft is coming up quickly.

Overall, the Seminoles have a nice foundation piece in Solomon Thomas with the interior offensive line. Then if Florida State has an opportunity to add offensive tackle Ziyare Addison and interior offensive lineman Dontrell Glover (who has received a crystal prediction in favor of the Seminoles), that would be a solid haul for Atkins and company.

Addison will be officially visiting Florida State on the pivotal June 21st weekend where all four current commitments will be on campus. Clemson (May 31), Oregon (June 7), and Penn State (June 14) are vying for his services with official visits as well.
