THREE-STAR DE NICOLAS CLAYTON

As I mentioned before, the Seminoles only have one defensive end prospect with four-star Javion Hilson from Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Florida. Hilson has flirted with other schools but he has remained firm with Florida State.

However, defensive ends coach John Papuchis knows that pass rushers are pivotal to a defense's success. Florida State has had success at the defensive end position. Much of their success can be noticed with transfer portal pickups.

Could this be the moment that the program navigates to the recruiting side of things? The only prospect that the staff has had a high level of success with was former four-star recruit Patrick Payton.

On Thursday, Class of 2025 three-star defensive end Nicolas Clayton from F.W. Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Florida has received a crystal ball prediction in favor of the Seminoles with a confidence level of 6 out of 10 from Noles247Sports Contributor Zach Blostein.

Clayton just finished his mid-week official visit with Florida State. The Gainesville native will be making his commitment on Saturday, June 22nd at 3 PM.
