FOUR-STAR DB GREGORY THOMAS

Florida State has enjoyed the presence of defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. who has developed players to the professional ranks in his first season as well as on the recruiting trail.

The Seminoles do not have any defensive back prospects in their recruiting class. However, that does not mean that they are doomed at the position. One recruit that Florida State has been on for a while is four-star cornerback/safety Gregory Thomas from American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida.

It is noteworthy to suggest that Surtain Sr. used to be the head football coach at American Heritage. His long-standing relationship has proved dividends to even the 2025 prospects from the high school.

Thomas has visited Florida State on multiple occasions where many experts have put in crystal ball predictions in favor of the Seminoles. 247Sports Insider Brian Dohn included a prediction in favor of Florida State for Thomas with a confidence level of 6 out of 10.

The talented defensive back will be officially visiting the Seminoles this weekend.
