FOUR-STAR DT TRENT WILSON

Florida State had a wide variety of success at the defensive tackle position during the 2023 season with Braden Fiske, Joshua Farmer, Fabien Lovett Sr., and Darrell Jackson Jr. (who made an appearance in the Orange Bowl).

Defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins has been a staple in Tallahassee while developing his players at a high level. The legendary assistant coach will be back in 2024. The Seminoles added Grady Kelly and Tomiwa Durojaiye (who will play both defensive end and defensive tackle).

While Florida State has only secured one defensive tackle signee in the 2024 recruiting cycle with three-star Jamorie Flagg, the Seminoles could depend upon the play of Joshua Farmer and Darrell Jackson Jr.

In the 2025 recruiting cycle, one target to monitor is four-star defensive lineman Trent Wilson from Upper Marlboro (MD). Wilson unofficially visited recently for the Seminoles' Junior Day visit and discussed his great relationship with Haggins to the various media members there.

Penn State could be the biggest concern in his recruitment with him visiting multiple times within the past few months.
