DL JARED VERSE AND BRADEN FISKE (RAMS)

Florida State football had one of the more dominant defensive lines in the country during the 2023 season. Just ask the Louisville Cardinals in the ACC Championship Game. Defensive end Jared Verse and defensive tackle Braden Fiske made their lives a nightmare.

The ultra-talented pass rusher Jared Verse heard his name selected 19th overall pick by the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday. Then the unthinkable happened as his former teammate (defensive tackle Braden Fiske) was selected with the 39th overall pick by his team.

The Rams are having to replace the likes of future Hall of Fame defensive lineman Aaron Donald. While I am not suggesting that Verse and/or Fiske will be Donald, I do believe that it is a good start with acquiring talent in the room for the future.

This should be a slam-dunk jersey sale for the Rams. It was hilarious that former running back Trey Benson even had concerns about playing the duo twice a year after him being drafted by the Cardinals.
