Takeaways from Mike Norvell speaking to the media after Tuesday's practice
QUARTERBACKS GLENN AND KROMENHOEK OUT FOR REMAINDER OF SPRING
Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell has talked glowingly about all of the quarterbacks on the roster this spring. There have been growing pains, but you could tell that they were getting more comfortable with what the coaching staff was asking them to do.
Unfortunately, on Tuesday afternoon, Norvell explained that quarterbacks such as redshirt freshman Brock Glenn and true freshman Luke Kromenhoek will be out for the remainder of the spring with minor injuries where it will not affect them in the summer.
Norvell mentioned Glenn in his last media session as being hurt and might be out for a short time. This is probably a way that the coaching staff that the injury does not linger throughout the season. As for Kromenhoek, it was probably not likely that a true freshman gets the starting nod in his first season anyway.
Redshirt senior DJ Uiagalelei and true freshman Trever Jackson will take the snaps during the spring game. Norvell stated that it would be a good opportunity for Jackson to develop and progress through the offensive scheme.
