PLAY OF TE'S LANDEN THOMAS AND AMAREE WILLIAMS

Florida State fans have been critical of the play from veteran tight end Kyle Morlock (rightfully so), given the amount of crucial drops that he has had. The tight end position is valued highly in Norvell's offensive scheme since they have to do so much in the offense.

Some individuals wanted a youth movement on offense since it seemed difficult for a majority of the season to move it with the veterans. Two offensive players that Seminole fans wanted to see were tight ends, Amaree Williams and Landen Thomas.

Williams caught his first collegiate touchdown on Saturday. The former four-star prospect is only 17 years old (yes, I pulled a Ryan Williams reference) and was recruited as a defensive end, but he might have found his new position.

As for Thomas, he recorded seven receptions for 80 yards and was the Seminoles' leading receiver. The highly-touted true freshman emerged into his own, and I wonder why he did not see the field as much sooner.
