On3's Fong dropped four crystal ball predictions in favor of the Seminoles

FOUR-STAR CB JAELEN WATERS (2026)

Florida State recently extended some offers to a variety of highly-touted prospects in the 2026 recruiting cycle. One of the recruits that received that on March 4th was four-star cornerback Jaelen Waters from Armwood High School in Seffner, Florida.

Waters has tremendous size where he is listed at 6'2" and 170 pounds. Many programs are going after his services such as Florida, Notre Dame, Texas, and USC. The competition will be tough for the Seminoles. However, Surtain Sr. has consistently proven that he can hang with the big dogs when it comes to recruiting.

I realize that the fan base will suggest that it is too early to get excited about a potential commitment that won't be able to sign with the university for another year and eight months. However it is exciting that Florida State's coaching staff is continuing to develop relationships within the state of Florida.

The 2026 recruiting class for the Seminoles has the chance to be legendary if the coaching staff pushes heavily for their top targets.
