LB CAM RILEY

As I mentioned the Seminoles needed veteran linebackers with collegiate experience. That is exactly what they got in Auburn redshirt senior transfer Cam Riley. He recorded 119 total tackles (7.5 for loss) and two sacks during his four seasons with the Tigers.

Riley originally committed to the North Carolina State Wolfpack earlier in the spring. However, the veteran thought it would be best to step away from the pledge and open back his recruitment.

The Seminoles hosted him for a visit earlier in the spring before he committed to North Carolina State. As a result, the connection was there already. However, Florida State's coaching staff did not fully pursue his services as they liked what they had at the linebacker position.

However, after much consideration, they decided that it would be best to acquire the veteran. In the very worst situation, he could be in-depth if injuries were to happen. However, Riley has the chance to realistically start for the Seminoles during the 2024 season alongside DJ Lundy.
