DEEPER TEAM THAN LAST YEAR?

Florida State enjoyed having contributors such as quarterback Jordan Travis, running back Trey Benson, wide receivers Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman, tight end Jaheim Bell, defensive end Jared Verse, defensive tackles Braden Fiske and Fabien Lovett Sr., linebackers Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune, cornerbacks Jarrian Jones and Renardo Green, and safety Akeem Dent.

The Seminoles had a rich of talent throughout its roster in 2023. However, all of those players have now moved on to accomplishing their dreams of the NFL.

In comes 38 scholarship newcomers who are ready to prove themselves. Norvell mentioned that the 2024 team has a chance to have a deeper football squad than last year. That speaks volume since the 2023 version was so talented.

As expected, Norvell stated that there is competition across the board. Several guys are competing for starting positions. It is great to see players competing as no starting spot is guaranteed.
