Mike Norvell speaks to the media after the Noles' second spring scrimmage
OFFENSE WAS GOOD TODAY WITH THEIR RESPONSE
Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell discussed in a previous media session that the defense was leading the practice. This is typical for the spring. However, the offense decided to take matters into their own hands.
It is exciting to see that the offense commits to getting better as a unit. Norvell, offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins, and quarterbacks coach Tony Tokarz are doing their best to make the offense very productive.
This was not a shot to the defense. The unit is filled with a variety of playmakers that can make the offense tough to generate positive momentum. Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller has to replace its own set of players that were productive last year.
Nonetheless, it is great to see the offense and defense taking turns with having their ways in the spring. It helps with building their identities.
