FSU freshmen show a bright future
I have been particularly impressed with many of the freshmen in their first foray into college softball. Jaysoni Beachum and Isa Torres look like veterans at the plate and have been successful in a few pressure-filled situations. Torres had the game-winning hit against Texas Tech, and Beachum had a great two-out at-bat to draw a walk to extend the inning so Torres would eventually get the opportunity to deliver the game-winning hit.
Stay hot Jaysoni🔥🔥

Beachum is hitting over .500, and Torres is hitting over .400. Ashtyn Danley has struggled at the plate and inside the circle, playing both ways, but I expect her contributions to come once she stops pressing and allows her natural talent to take over. Kennedy Harp flashed her speed on the bases and is already 2-2. Angelee Bueno has seen action in four games. Mimi Gooden has been solid on the mound, picking up her first win against FAMU.
