FSU football: Top 5 concerns going into the 2024 season

Many people questioned taking quarterback DJ Uiagalelei from the transfer portal. Those folks focused on his time at Clemson, not realizing Clemson fired that offensive staff after he left for Oregon State. The Beavers went on to produce the No. 11 offense via FEI advanced metrics in 2023. Uiajalelei will be fine. He rarely turns the ball over, doesn't take many negative plays, and can be a threat in the running game. The biggest question is which receivers will step up and play consistently? FSU has more overall talent at the position than they did in 2022.
They have more experience, but the veterans have dealt with many injuries and the talented young guys don't have much production. If FSU can get anything close to the level of play they got from Johnny Wilson, Ontaria Wilson, and Mycah Pittman in 2022? This offense will be fine. That trio produced 105 receptions, 12 touchdowns, and 1,700+ receiving yards. Malik Benson expects to be the No. 1 guy. FSU will need him to remain healthy, or the questions for this unit will definitely get amplified.
