1. War Chant

There's nothing like the sound of the War Chant for Florida State fans around the nation! This is a tradition used in multiple sports but mostly in football and basketball. Even at some away games, Florida State fans take over the stadiums with the War Chant after big wins. The most recent away game War Chant breakout was this past football season with a statement win at Wake Forest, one of their best games of the season. To see the Florida State fans take over away stadiums with the War Chant is always surreal. Not many other programs have that affect.

What most people don't know is the War Chant started at Florida State. It became so iconic that the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs, MLB's Atlanta Braves, and several high school teams use it as well. It is a rarity for a college team to have a tradition so influential to other sports teams. Considering the many college football traditions, none of them can even come close to the epic sounds of the War Chant blaring at Florida State!
