Obviously, road games provide a challenge to any team, good or bad. Cancelling out the noise from the opponents' rowdy crowds is winning half the battle. With the road challenges in mind, the Seminoles football program came up with the Sod Cemetery road tradition which involves taking a small piece of the opponents' field and placing it in a special cemetery back at Florida State after a road win.

Perfect motivation for the players to win road games! This is one of the coolest traditions in college football because it is unique, and it gives players something to look forward to after a road win.
