No. 8 Malik Benson will have 50+ receptions and 1,000 receiving yards

We've seen how FSU can take a talented yet unproven receiver and get major production with Johnny Wilson. Wilson had 43 receptions for 897 yards in his first season at FSU after only having 18 receptions for 243 yards in his first two years at Arizona State. Mycah Pittman was productive in his first season at FSU, with 32 receptions for 330 yards after transferring from Oregon. Malik Benson had major production at the JUCO level before having 13 receptions for 162 yards after transferring to Alabama last year.

He'll fit a role similar to Wilson in 2022. Wilson would have had even better production had he not dropped several passes that year. Benson will likely have multiple targets per game and only needs average right over four receptions per game to reach 50. He'll likely have a lot of explosive plays with his elite speed, which will help rack up the yardage. The FSU run game will likely force teams to commit a safety to stopping the run, which opens things up vertically. I need him to stay healthy.
