Florida State football lost to Georgia Tech by a score of 24-21 in their season opener in Dublin, Ireland. This is quite disappointing as the Seminoles accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship.

The fan base thought the Seminoles would have success this season, but they knew that the squad had several newcomers to its roster. It looks like the new faces have not jelled together yet.

That is reasonable considering that Florida State is having to replace pieces such as Jordan Travis, Trey Benson, Johnny Wilson, Keon Coleman, Jaheim Bell, Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, Kalen DeLoach, Tatum Bethune, Renardo Green, Jarrian Jones, and Akeem Dent from last year's squad.

It doesn't get any easier when you have individuals from ESPN such as Paul Finebaum and Greg McElroy taking jabs at Florida State with every opportunity that they can get.

The defeat only makes those haters talk even louder. Head football coach Mike Norvell and his team do a nice job of navigating through the outside noise of individuals. One person that has always had the Seminoles' backs is former Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Griffin III recently released a statement on social media about Florida State where you can find it here.

As he stated in the tweet, the mission doesn't change at Florida State. They still have an unconquered spirit that cannot be matched. While the loss to Georgia Tech was frustrating, the Seminoles still have their goals in sight as they could run the table and still be able to compete for the ACC Championship.

Robert Griffin III was recently fired from ESPN. This decision came two days after he posted on Twitter (X) that the Seminoles deserved to be in the College Football Playoff in 2023.

Griffin III has not stopped believing in the Seminoles so why should other fans? Let's get loud and show up to Doak Campbell Stadium on Labor Day night to support the team! The squad needs the love and support more than ever right now.
