Florida State football had a successful 2023 campaign where they accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship. The Seminoles are looking to prove the doubters wrong after the College Football Playoff committee excluded them in favor of the one-loss Alabama Crimson Tide.

Many individuals think the Seminoles could be on a downward trajectory in 2024. The coaching staff added several new pieces via the transfer portal such as quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, wide receiver Malik Benson, and defensive end Marvin Jones Jr.

Head football coach Mike Norvell remains confident in his squad. It is easy to see why since the program combined a 23-4 record over the past two seasons. However, the cautious nature of Florida State adding new faces to their roster is understandable to a degree.

The over/under win total for 2024 is 9.5 for Florida State. That seems to forecast that Vegas thinks that the Seminoles are in contention for winning the conference and a playoff spot.
